I've been using St. Ive's Invigorating Apricot Scrub for more than five years now and I won't stop using this amazing product. Its beads gently but deeply cleans your face, removes impurities, and keeps your skin soft and smooth. Furthermore, it's not that expensive, so it's a good deal. The picture at the left has the old design of the tube. The new tube design is featured below.
I was in a supermarket in Quezon City last week looking for St. Ive's apricot scrub in a tube and all I saw were the new ones. It took me some time to decide if I'm gonna buy the one with a new design or still look for the old ones. Alas! The old tube design was all gone.
What's the big deal between the old and the new? Well, for starters, I was looking for the 'roughness' of the beads. I like 'em rough! Haha~! The new one, if I'm not mistaken was kinda alien to me. The beads looked a little different (pinkish red in color) and sparse compared to the old one. Perhaps I just got confused with it. I ended up buying St. Ive's in a canister. Upon checking it out, I was able to confirm that it's the 'rough' scrub i was lookin' for. It retails for under Php300.00. As I've said, it's a perfectly good deal because it's not that expensive and it works perfectly on most skin types. Furthermore, the canister could last long since you don't necessarily need to apply a whole lot on your face. Thus, it's a peso saver.
I haven't tried the new St. Ive's (new look) yet. But once my canister is almost consumed, I bet I have no other option but to try the new one. I still hope that I was indeed mistaken that the 'Invigorating' variant I saw was not the one I was lookin' for. Otherwise I would really scout the metro to look for the 'rough' St. Ive's Invigorating facial scrub I am so used to.
Actually, I don't limit scrubbing to my face only. I also use it for my neck and arms, even for my feet. I know there are scrubs for the legs and feet but I prefer using St. Ive's Apricot. It does wonders on those parts of my body since it exfoliates dead skin cells. Before I go to a spa to have a foot scrub and a whole body massage, I exfoliate first. That way, I always hear compliments from the attendant that my skin is soft and smooth.
Here are other details of this amazing scrub which I have taken from St. Ive's official website:
